Sturdy 4wd vehicles are recommended given the rocky nature of the dirt roads out here, but driveway is new with road-base and can handle an RV (the driveway does not appear on Google Maps since it is so new). The closest town is San Luis, a charming place with a delicious coffee house, yummy pizza joint, and several community parks. There are some beautiful reservoirs and fishing areas nearby for those who love water, and we are just one hour from fabulous Taos, New Mexico.
